Oat Smoothie

Yes, I am on a smoothie kick!  Adding oats to your smoothie will provide you with a sense of feeling full as a result of the fiber, and oats will definitely boost your magnesium levels too!  Many people are deficient in magnesium.  There are many sources online that you can google!   Epic's Lucuma protein powder is also a perfect addition to this smoothie as one tablespoon will provide you with 9.5 grams of protein.  


1/3 cup of frozen blueberries
1/3 cup of apple chunks I used Braeburn
1/3 cup of oats
1 Tbsp of cacao
1 Tbsp of almond butter
1 Tbsp of agave or maple syrup
1 1/4 cup of flax milk
1/8 tsp of cinnamon
1 Tbsp of Epic Vanilla Lucuma protein powder
1 Tbsp of hemp seed oil
4 ice cubes
Optional: Add 1 Tbsp presoaked chia seeds

Blend and enjoy! Makes a 16 oz smoothie
